Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher's assistant to join our school !

As a teacher's assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and engaging space where children can learn, grow, and develop important skills.

Responsibilities:
- Support the teacher in daily activities of the classroom,
- Assist teacher by working with individual children or small groups
- Assist with snack and lunch set-up and clean-up
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Assist teacher with supervision of children at all times
- Assist children with their morning drop-off routine and afternoon pick-up routine
- Participate actively in all student activities including circle time and gym time
- Assist with diapering, wash up and toilet routines

- The eligible applicant MUST complete 15 hours of on-line training each year

Skills:

- Individual must have strong interpersonal skills; they MUST be reliable, flexible, tolerant and cheerful with staff, students and families alike. They MUST be punctual, dependable and energetic.
- Early childhood education background is preferred
- Experience working with preschool-aged children
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism

Note: All positions at our daycare center are paid positions. We do not offer unpaid internships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.08 - $19.30 per hour
